Experts from Psychic World have compiled a rating of the best places to find your luck in 2022. In this article we will tell you where, according to experts, it is better for tourists to go for fortune this year.
When creating the rating, experts were based on three variables: the number of average monthly global search volumes, the number of hashtags on Instagram, and the number of reviews on TripAdvisor. They analyzed 30 popular locations according to these criteria and rated each of them on a 10-point scale.
According to the results of the study, the Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy took the first place. It is the best place to visit in search of good luck this year with a popularity score of 9.5 out of 10. This place ranks first in the number of reviews on TripAdvisor (102,194 reviews) and second in hashtags on Instagram (572,969 hashtags). The Trevi Fountain was built in the middle of the XVIII century, it is the largest fountain in the capital of Italy. It is considered that those who are looking for luck should stand with their backs to the fountain and throw a coin over their left shoulder. According to legend, this can not only bring good luck to tourists, but also guarantee a return to Rome in the future.

In second place with a rating of 9.3 out of 10 was the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey. The Hoover Dam in Nevada, USA is in third place in terms of luck for a traveler with a popularity score of 9.2 out of 10. The analysis showed that this is the place most often searched for – 305,000 queries in the global monthly volume of searches. The dam is named after the 31st President of the United States Herbert Hoover. Two winged figures 10 meters high, made of bronze, stand on the approach to the dam from the Nevada side. Legend has it that if you rub them with your fingers, it will bring good luck.

The top 3 popular places to visit for good luck this year are followed by Charles Bridge in the Czech Republic (rating 9), Blarney Castle in Ireland (rating 7.5) and Fushimi Inari Temple in Japan (rating 7.1), occupying, respectively, fourth, fifth and sixth places. The seventh place was taken by the Senso-ji temple in Japan, the eighth – the Bridge of Love in Paris, the ninth – the Attacking Bull in Manhattan. The tenth place went to Juliet’s House in Verona.
