What flights to Russia are available to Kazakhstanis

Air traffic between Russia and Kazakhstan is gradually returning to its former regularity. Moreover, the Russian side plans to launch new directions. While Kazakhstan has not made a decision, we have found out which flights to Russia are operating right now.

Currently, there are 42 flights a week between Kazakhstan and Russia on 12 routes. According to the MIIR press service, flights to nine destinations and 21 flights are operated by airlines of both countries:
Kazakhstan Airlines operates seven flights to Russia each:

Nur-Sultan – Moscow, Almaty – Moscow.

One flight at a time:

Nur-Sultan – Saint Petersburg, Nur-Sultan – Novosibirsk, Nur-Sultan – Omsk, Karaganda – Moscow, Shymkent – Moscow, Aktau – Moscow, Aktau – Grozny.

Russian Airlines operates seven flights to Kazakhstan:

Nur-Sultan – Moscow, Almaty – Moscow.

One flight at a time:

Nur-Sultan – Novosibirsk, Nur-Sultan – Kaliningrad, Almaty – Kaliningrad, Karaganda – Moscow, Shymkent – Moscow, Aktau – Moscow, Kostanay – Moscow.

Earlier, information appeared on the website of the Russian government that from December 1, 2021, the Russian side will lift restrictions on regular and irregular flights between the countries. In addition, it is planned to resume regular flights with Kazakhstan on 31 flights on a reciprocal basis.

Three flights to Russia per week:

Zhukovsky – Nur-Sultan, Zhukovsky – Almaty and Zhukovsky – Shymkent.

One flight to Russia per week:

Krasnodar – Nur-Sultan, Orenburg – Nur-Sultan, Sochi – Nur-Sultan, Krasnoyarsk – Nur-Sultan, Mineralnye Vody – Nur-Sultan, Yekaterinburg – Nur-Sultan;

Saint Petersburg – Almaty, Krasnodar – Almaty, Orenburg – Almaty, Sochi – Almaty, Mineralnye Vody – Almaty, Rostov-on-Don – Almaty, Yekaterinburg – Almaty, Omsk – Almaty, Ufa – Almaty;

Moscow – Aktobe, St. Petersburg – Aktobe;

Saint Petersburg – Petropavlovsk;

Saint Petersburg – Aktau, Rostov-on-Don – Aktau, Yekaterinburg – Aktau;

Saint Petersburg – Atyrau, Krasnodar – Atyrau, Sochi – Atyrau, Rostov-on-Don – Atyrau;

Kazan – Aktobe;

Moscow – Ust-Kamenogorsk;

Rostov-on-Don – Karaganda.
