The Kazakh tenge has been repeatedly recognized as one of the most beautiful banknotes in the world. All thanks to the efforts of designers. But how often do we pay attention to the fact that it was drawn on the money. But it can be a real virtual tour. The correspondent of this article “walked” around Kazakhstan, and the domestic tenge became a guide for him.

What is depicted: buildings of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan)

The building of the Ministry of Transport and Communications can be considered one of the symbols of Nursultan along with “Baiterek”, as it was the first skyscraper built in the capital. It is one of the highest in Kazakhstan. It reaches a height of 155 meters – 36 floors. Being near this high-rise, there is a feeling that the tower crashes directly into the sky and there is no end to it. Perhaps this is one of the most beautiful buildings in the capital. The people called him “lighter”. By the way, this building confirms its nickname – there were fires in it.

The building of the Ministry of Defense is the abode of the central executive body in the field of the armed forces. The building is designed in a simple classical style, with columns. On the roof is a sharp dome, which also goes into the sky, embodying devotion to high ideals. It is located in the heart of the capital, not far from the monument”Baiterek”.

What is depicted: gulls flying over the Caspian Sea.

Located in the very center of the continent, Kazakhstan has no access to the sea. However, it is our country that has the longest coastline of the largest drainless lake in the world – the Caspian Sea. This is one of the main riches of our country. The Caspian Sea is larger than the Sea of Azov, and is comparable to the areas of the Black and Baltic Seas. It is considered the largest closed body of water on Earth and contains about 40 percent of the internal waters of the entire Earth.

By the way, because of nesting near the Caspian Sea, local gulls were called “Caspian and gulls”. In Latin, Larus cachinnans, where larus is “a large seabird” and cachinnans means “to laugh”. By the way, after the release of this bill, there was a scandal – the famous Swiss photographer Marcel Burkhard accused the National Bank of Kazakhstan of plagiarism-allegedly his photo of a seagull was used.

The Ustyurt plateau is located between Mangyshlak and the Kara-Bogaz-Gol Bay in the west, the Aral Sea and the Amu Darya Delta in the east. Some scientists believe that this is the border between Asia and Europe.

The center of the composition is a stele with a height of 28 meters. It ends with a” Golden Man ” with a height of six meters – the ruler who controls the winged leopard standing up and symbolizes the firm state power on the Kazakh land. At the foot of the stele, on a stylobate, there is a sculptural group consisting of allegorical figures of the “Sage-sky”, “Mother-earth” and two children on foals. The figures are placed on the four sides of the world, from where the life-giving moisture comes, making the earth bear fruit. Children-riders symbolize the youth and great future of our republic.
