Extreme sports involve a certain risk. Therefore, we note that all the leisure activities listed below require hard training or working in tandem with an experienced instructor. There is no need to undertake any independence at the initial stage.
Alpine skiing and snowboarding
In winter, all records are broken by the passion for mountain skiing and snowboarding. Today, the ski service is much better and more diverse than ten years ago. Almost everywhere there are slopes for both beginners and professionals. And the ski complexes themselves have become much larger. The leading position in terms of service quality is occupied by the Almaty region, but the ski complexes of the East Kazakhstan region benefit from climatic conditions: here on the slopes the snow lies much longer (from mid-November to mid-April), thereby delighting all fans of this type of extreme recreation.
Snowboarding mainly attracts young people, children who are ready to learn, active and fearless. The largest of them are located in Almaty and Ust-Kamenogorsk. In Almaty, training in closed water takes place mainly in the “Dynamo” pool, diving in open water – in the Kapchagai reservoir.
The base of the Ust-Kamenogorsk diving center is located in a picturesque place of the East Kazakhstan region-on the Sibinsky lakes, 70 kilometers from the city. Here training is only in open water.
