More than 20 new tourist objects will appear in the Almaty region by the end of the year

795 tourist places are already functioning in the region.

By the end of the year, the Almaty region is planning to complete the construction of 27 tourism facilities in the amount of 4.2 billion tenge, Today.kz reports with reference to the press service of the regional akimat.

According to the regional tourism department, according to the results of the first half of the year, 795 tourist places function in the region, compared to the corresponding period of last year, an increase of 4% was achieved.

“14 objects of tourist infrastructure have already been put into operation with the attraction of private investments in the amount of 1,081 million tenge. Including one complex in the Zhambyl region, the remaining 13 – on the coast of Lake Alakol. The number of served visitors amounted to 421.9 thousand people or 54% of the same period last year. Paid tourist and recreational services were provided in the amount of 3,621 million tenge, or 63% to the level of last year, “the Department said.

In addition, on the territory of the mountain cluster, long-term large investment projects are being implemented for the construction of the Aport and Ak Bulak resorts in the Talgar region, Turgen in the Enbekshikazakh region and the Park Canyon entertainment complex in the Raiymbek region for a total of 542.7 billion tenge of private investment.

A cottage town with a summer amphitheater Alakol Apartments will appear on the coast of Lake Alakol, the amount of investment in the project is 4 billion tenge.
