According to the developers, this practice exists in developed countries and has already shown its effectiveness. Earlier, a similar project, including 14 objects, was developed for Astana. The main goal of smart cards is to increase the popularity of the resort.

“The most important thing is that thanks to” Burabay CityPASS” tourists can get acquainted with the cost of rest and get acquainted in detail with the offered tourist products,” – said Alexey Pogodaev, Director of development of” CITY PASS KAZAKHSTAN ” LLP.

“Burabay CityPASS” is offered in two versions. In electronic form, when a tourist goes to the site and chooses excursions. The more excursions, the greater the discount. There is also a boxed version, which includes a guide, a tourist card, which can be used to pay, and a SIM card with a tariff, which is convenient for tourists from abroad. During the meeting, Governor of the region Malik Murzalin noted that such maps should be available to tourists.

“The President of the country pays great attention to the development of tourism, including the Shchuchinsk-Burabay resort zone. We need to increase the influx of tourists. And this project will have its effect by informing them about the available facilities and types of recreation. We must ensure its accessibility and convenience,” the head of the region said.

Smart cards are now available at 4 points in the resort area. However, the meeting noted that in the future it is necessary to increase the number of points of sale.
