The French TV channel Arte TV showed a documentary about Lake Kaindy and the nature of the Almaty region.
The film “Kaindy – Mountain Pearl” was created by the association of documentary filmmakers French Connection Films. Support in the filming was provided by JSC “NC Kazakh Tourism”. The film lasts more than 40 minutes and is accompanied by voice acting in French. The first part of it is devoted to the history of Lake Kaindy. The film uses underwater footage of divers swimming past huge “sunken” trees.

Also, much attention is paid to the neighboring landscapes, in particular the mountains of the Almaty region. Medium and close-up shows the local inhabitants: mountain goats, snakes, rodents. A separate block in the film tells about the snow leopard: rare shots with this predator are used, as well as interviews with environmental defenders who monitor the population and movement of animals.

Aerial photography is used in the film, due to which beautiful panoramic views of the mountains are opened. The video is conditionally divided into two parts, in which summer and winter landscapes are used equally.
