How can travelers determine if their hotel room was actually cleaned before checking in? A simple secret was shared by a flight attendant of one of the world’s airports.
Checking into a hotel room can cause both positive and negative emotions. Tourists often pay attention to the cleanliness, smell and interior decoration of the room. However, not everyone notices how the bed is made.
So, one of the flight attendants told me what to pay attention to before going to bed.
“If there are no folds on the bed linen, then surely the service staff did not change it. Probably, someone has already slept here before you. Do not try to lie down on such a bed. Of course, you should not go to bed if the bed is completely rumpled when you check in. Most likely, the maids just missed cleaning your room,” she shares.
In turn, one of the employees of a motel near Yosemite National Park admitted that he did not always change the bed linen, preferring to simply lay the same bedding set again.
“This is backbreaking work. Therefore, if I saw that the bed was slightly dirty, I just pulled the sheets tighter and hoped that none of the guests would notice the trick,” the motel employee confides.
Previously, a well-known blogger and flight attendant Kat Kamalani told about the safe check-in at the hotel. So, Kat advises not to call her room number out loud. Especially if there are strangers nearby. And at the entrance to the room, the girl recommends carefully examining the places behind the curtains and under the bed.
