There are plans to hold an annual music festival on Alakol, and as a result of the reconstruction of the runway, Urjara Airport will be able to receive medium-range aircraft of the Embraer type. This was announced by the governor of the East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov at a meeting on tourism development.
The head of the region also said that this year there are 163 hotels and recreation centers in Alakol, and 94 of them are in the ASHYQ system. Moreover, 80 percent of employees of recreation centers on Alakol in the East Kazakhstan region have already received a coronavirus vaccination. In general, this year’s season has been launched.
“Work has already been carried out to clean the bottom, rescuers and policemen are on duty. There are 347 business facilities operating on the coast, a system has been developed for the location of catering points and kebabs in such a way that they are not on the Alakolsky Arbat and do not interfere with vacationers,” he said.
The governor of the region also said that this year AlaZONE will be launched, which will become a platform for holding international music festivals such as “Heat” in Baku (Azerbaijan).
Akhmetov informed that after the reconstruction of the runway, Urjara Airport will be able to receive medium-range aircraft of the Embraer type.
“Since June 17, trains have been running, the number of cars has been increased to 61, the number of buses has also been increased. As for the airport, an adjustment of the project is required here, because in the past the construction of a light-signal strip was not taken into account. After the reconstruction, the runway length will be more than two thousand meters, and Urjara Airport will be able to receive even large Embraer-type aircraft, ” he said.
In addition, the governor of the region instructed to deal with the shadow economy associated with the supply of products from local farms, and to comply with all the rules of trade.
Also during the meeting, it became known that the construction of power lines and water pipes is continuing on the territory adjacent to the lake, the construction of an administrative building is underway, which will house the services responsible for the safety of vacationers.
