Tourists can now visit tourist attractions, as well as save on food and lodging, thanks to the unified CityPASS smart card in Almaty. How it will work and where it can be purchased, the correspondent understood Today.kz.
The CityPASS package includes the map itself, a guide in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English), the CityPASS map of Almaty and Beeline SIM cards with the “Welcome”tariff.
According to the head of management and PR Department of CityPASS Ainur Sergazieva, you can buy a tourist card at points of sale (plastic cards) and order it on the website (the card will be in your phone) by paying for the purchase online.
“At the entrance to the tourist site, you will need to show the card at the checkout or to the operator of the turnstile. A tourist can visit each object on the map once. The card can be used within 72 hours from the moment of the first visit to the object, ” Sergazieva said.
She noted that even if a tourist visits six out of 12 possible places on the map, they will still save about 30 percent of their budget.
“According to our map, you can visit such objects as the Kok-Tobe cable car, Shymbulak, the Happy Eye Ferris wheel, the Museum of history of Almaty, the Kasteev Museum and a number of other interesting museums in the city. At the same time, the tour of the object will be completely free. The map also includes an electric bus tour of the most picturesque places in Almaty” – shared Sergazieva.
She added that the map gives advantages not only when visiting tourist sites, but also restaurants and hotels.
“With our map, the tourist can get 15% discount on your bill in some establishments ( 24 restaurant), a check of the hotels (nine hotels) and entertainment (four children’s Park)”, – said Ainur Sergaziev.
